from 4.50

Elizabeth Blackwell* is a rich salmon, a pink-peach tone with good depth of colour.

  • We hand-dye and hand-cut these ribbons in our Somerset workshop

  • Made from the finest habotai silk, to give a soft, flowing effect, with a slight shimmery effect.

  • All dyes are handmade by us using plants we have sourced from the local area, reusing and recycling flowers and garden waste

  • These ribbons are cut on the bias, so drape beautifully

  • They are approximately 1.5m in length, which is a perfect length for tying on a bouquet, but if you require longer lengths you can easily stitch a few reels together

  • Available in 3 widths - 2cm, 5cm, 8cm

  • Supplied on handmade wooden peg, wrapped in tissue, and packaged in a box for protection

  • Perfect for adding a luxurious and romantic feel to your wedding or event

* Elizabeth Blackwell (b. 1821) was born in Bristol but her family emigrated to America when she was a girl. After her father's death Elizabeth wanted to become a doctor. She faced great opposition but eventually she did gain a place and became the first woman in America to receive a medical degree. In 1869 she returned to live in Britain where she campaigned for women to have the right to train as medical professionals.
