Blush silk ribbon VELVET - 'Kate Sheppard'

Kate Sheppard* is a very pale, pinky blush. Just a hint of colour for a warm, pretty ribbon.

  • These silk velvet ribbons are approximately 1.5m long ribbon

  • 3.5cm wide

  • We hand-dye these velvet silk ribbons in our Somerset workshop

  • Made from luxurious silk velvet

  • Due to the nature of the fabric the velvet ribbons do fray slightly at the edges, if a crisper finish is required any loose bits can easily be trimmed off

  • All botanical dyes are handmade by us using plants we have sourced from the local area, reusing and recycling flowers and garden waste

  • Perfect for adding a luxurious and romantic feel to your wedding or event

*Kate Sheppard was born in England in 1847 Kate moved to New Zealand in the 1860s, where she became a feminist and a leader of the women's suffrage movement. Having played an important part in gaining votes for women in the first country in the world to do so, Kate went on to campaign for the same in other countries.
