These silk velvet ribbons are approximately 1.5m long ribbon

We hand-dye these velvet silk ribbons in our Somerset workshop
Made from luxurious silk velvet
Due to the nature of the fabric the velvet ribbons do fray slightly at the edges, if a crisper finish is required any loose bits can easily be trimmed off
All botanical dyes are handmade by us using plants we have sourced from the local area, reusing and recycling flowers and garden waste

*Born in 1750 in Germany. Caroline Herschel moved to Bath with her astronomer brother where she became his housekeeper and assistant. She began to make her own discoveries, including several comets. She received a pension from King George III for her work and was awarded a gold medal by the Royal Astronomical Society. She died at the age of 98.
